About NeoKit
Small, exact tools for the forms and numbers of everyday Indian life.
NeoKit started with a simple frustration: an exam portal rejecting a photo because it was 52 KB instead of 50 KB, at 11:40 pm on the last day of the application. Most online "resizers" upload your photo to an unknown server, cover it with ads, and still get the size wrong.
So we built tools that do the job exactly, on your own device, and explain the rules they follow.
What we build
NeoKit has 15 focused tools in two groups:
- Exam photos and documents: resize to exact exam specs, compress images and PDFs to a target KB, clean signatures, and make, merge or split PDFs.
- Money and life calculators: in-hand salary under both tax regimes, 8th Pay Commission estimates, GST and GST invoices, CGPA to percentage, exam age eligibility, and rent receipts for HRA.
We only build tools where you need to do something: process a file, get an exact calculation, or produce a document. We skip anything a search box answers in one line.
Our principles
- Your files stay with you. Image and PDF processing happens inside your browser. We do not run upload servers.
- Sourced, dated rules. Every exam spec, tax slab and university formula links to its official source with a "last verified" date. Unverified values are clearly flagged and kept out of our sitemap.
- Fast on any phone. Pages are built to load quickly on a mid-range Android phone on 4G.
- Free, without dark patterns. No signup, no paywalls, no fake download buttons.
Who runs NeoKit
NeoKit (neokit.site) is owned and operated by phpdev.in. The phpdev.in team designs, builds and maintains every tool and every rule file.
NeoKit is independent. It is not affiliated with any government department, exam authority, university, board or tax authority. Exam names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Found a wrong rule?
Exam notifications and tax rules change. If you spot a value that does not match the latest official notification, please tell us with a link to the source. We correct verified errors quickly and update the "last verified" date.
