Dimensions are "preferred" in the IBPS guidelines; file-size ranges are mandatory. The CRP PO/MT-XVI (2026) notification has been published — check it for any changes before applying.
IBPS PO-specific tips
- Scan or photograph all four documents in good light, then run the signature and declaration through the Signature Cleaner for a pure white background.
- The declaration text is printed in the notification. Copy it exactly in running (cursive or normal) handwriting, not capitals.
- The 140×60 px signature is tiny, so sign boldly with a thick black pen so it stays readable after resizing.
- Keep the original high-resolution scans; you may need them again for the mains and interview stages.
Common reasons IBPS PO uploads get rejected
- Signature or declaration written in CAPITAL LETTERS.
- Thumb impression smudged or too faint to show ridges.
- Photo with a dark or patterned background, or a selfie with a tilted face.
- Same image uploaded in two slots (for example, the photo in the signature slot).
IBPS PO age limit
Age is counted as on 1 July 2025: 20–30 years for the unreserved category, with relaxation of 3 years (OBC), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PwBD). Check your exact age and eligibility →
