Files never leave your device. Your files are processed right here in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
For CGL, SSC captures your photograph live during the application, so the only file you prepare is your signature: a JPG of 10–20 KB that measures about 6.0 cm wide by 2.0 cm high. The signature is matched at the exam centre, so sign the way you will sign there.

SSC CGL-specific tips
- Sign in a 6 cm × 2 cm box drawn lightly with pencil on white paper so the proportions come out right.
- Use a black gel or ball-point pen; blue ink can turn grey and faint after compression.
- Run the photo of your signature through the Signature Cleaner first, then resize it here.
- For the live photo, sit facing a window and remove spectacles, mask and cap before you start.
Common reasons SSC CGL uploads get rejected
- Blurred or miniature (very small) signature.
- Signature in capital letters, or one that differs from the signature at the exam venue.
- Signature file larger than 20 KB or smaller than 10 KB.
- Live photo with cap, mask or spectacles, or taken in poor light.
